Correlations Between Learning Style Preferences and Arab-Speaking Gulf Region First-Year College Students’ EFL Performance: A Literature Review

چکیده

This review aims at examining recent and relevant literature that investigates the correlations among learning style preferences, awareness of motivation, intelligence types, gender, Arabic Gulf region first-year college students’ EFL performance. A lot studies about influence learners’ their motivation types on ESL (English as a second language) performance have been conducted in English speaking Western countries, but fewer similar research foreign contexts, particularly Arabian Arabic-speaking countries more with college-students participants. attempts to explore dominant main or obvious according multiple theory, type how these could impact progress otherwise EFL. Due relative scarcity region, other neighboring culturally were reviewed well. As result this respect, are recommended help learners, instructors, professionals, researchers, practitioners concerned involved context.
